Bexorg — Chief Business Officer (2024–2026)

Negotiated and subsequently expanded the Biohaven collaboration for the company’s human-CNS platform. Led strategic planning that repositioned the organization for Series B financing. Built the finance, HR, and investor-relations functions. Built AI-enabled competitive-intelligence and opportunity-sourcing capabilities.

Protego Biopharmaceuticals — Chief Business Officer (2023–2024)

Led business development, licensing, strategic partnering, and portfolio prioritization for a venture-backed neuroscience company ahead of institutional financing.

Stealth BioTherapeutics (now Mighty Therapeutics) — Senior Director through EVP, BD & Strategy (2016–2022)

Led the company’s most significant partnering transactions from sourcing through board approval and alliance management, including the Alexion agreement for an option to co-develop and commercialize a late-stage therapy for mitochondrial diseases. Identified the development opportunities behind an additional $50M investment from existing investors. Built and led the BD & Strategy function, including scientific scouting, competitive intelligence, financial analytics, and transaction support. Led new product planning and long-range forecasting across the portfolio.

Independent consulting (2015–2016)

Partnered with the scientific founder of a rare neuromuscular disease startup (later Keros Therapeutics) on corporate strategy for a successful $10M Series A. Built the valuation analysis behind a private-equity firm’s $15M investment in a blood-substitute company.

Ember Therapeutics — Director of Business Development (2012–2015)

Seventh employee. Negotiated a broad strategic collaboration with a major pharmaceutical company including research funding and co-development rights, and led the merger that maximized shareholder value after the lead program was discontinued.

Pfizer — Associate Director, R&D Business Development (2004–2012)

Led or supported roughly 20 R&D transactions: research collaborations, licensing, co-development, divestitures, and alliance management. Developed the business case behind a significant expansion of the biologics R&D portfolio (Pfizer Achievement Award).
